Drunk Chennai Man Leaves Audi at Hospital, Drives Back Home in Ambulance
A 30-year-old Chennai man named Mithil drove home an ambulance leaving back his Audi as a mistake.  The man was found to be drunk and he mistook ambulance for his super luxury Audi car and drove it home.  The man was hails from Palavakkam, Chennai was identified to be a businessman.  According to the reports, he visited his friend who is in the hospital on 17th December 2017 and while leaving drove ambulance leaving back his Audi car.
A leading daily said that Mithil had admitted his friend as an in-patient around 1:30 AM and left.  Later, the hospital staff had noticed that one of their ambulances were missing from the parking lot and reported the same to the police thinking that a theft had took place.  Nevertheless, they came to know the truth from Mithil’s driver who drove back the ambulance to the hospital.
He informed the authorities about the grave mistake done by his owner and said that when questioned about his car, he then realized that he drove a wrong vehicle home.  Other than that, the vehicle when returned had side-view mirror broken for which Mithil promised to get it done soon.  Though the hospital took the matter lite and decided not to take any charges against Mithil, police called him for questioning.

Everyone who knew about this incident was wondering how crazy this man is to drive home an ambulance in place of Audi.  His house was 13 km away from the hospital and he ain’t realized that he drove Maruti Omni until someone at home questioned about his car.  The man is said to be over drunk and likely to be charged on the same by the police.
When the ambulance was about 3 km away from the hospital, the authorities have come to know of the missing of the vehicle and intimated it to the police for investigation.  After the ambulance was handed over to the hospital, Mithil was asked to come to the station for further questioning about the incident.  He will likely be questioned about the amount of drink he took which made him mistake ambulance for audi.  He will likely be charged with drunk and drive case though nothing serious happened.  The hospital has however dropped charges over Mithil citing the safe return of the vehicle.
