Security Tightened at Mumbai, Chennai & Hyderabad Airports after Hinting on Hijack
The officials at International Airports of Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad have currently put high alert after hinting about hijack. Complete anti-hijack instructions have commenced at these airports. Also, the airport officials took all essential safety steps and placed the National Security Guards for temporary at the airports. On Sunday, the airport security agencies got an alert about a hijack plan of an aircraft that departs from different airports at a time.
As per the latest information, the team of hijack comprising of 23 people might hijack the flights at 3 different airports. In order to secure the people from the hijackers, the security agency have appointed a team in order to provide security at the three airports in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. All these airports are currently on a high alert. On Saturday, the Airport Security Coordination Committee organised a meeting after receiving the threat from the hijackers.
High Alert @ 3 International Airports
The airport officials have advised all the passengers to stay cautious if then board flights from these three International airports. They advised all the passengers to check-in on time and try to evade last minute hurry-burry at the airport. As per the hijack information, some unknown woman sent an email about the hijack plan. She had reportedly heard when a total of 6 boys started discussing about the hijack plan. They have planned to carry out the hijack concurrently at the three airports of Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. As per the information, a total of 23 people will take part in the trio hijacks as they have planned to do it on Sunday.
All the security agencies in the airports have started placing the security members on a high alert, said O P Singh, the Director-General CISF. Apart from this, they have taken a slew of security channels at the airports. He also informed that the security agencies have enhanced the patrolling as part of providing security. The set up of huge number of security personnel have arranged at these airports. In a bid to enhance the security at the international airports, the security agencies from these airports have integrated with the police from respective cities and some other armed forces. The city of Mumbai has a complete plan in order to overcome the terrorist attack but now, in the cities of Chennai and Hyderabad, the security agencies have increased safety.
