The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has given a good message for all the doctors. As per the message, all the doctors in the state must and should keep practice in the rural areas for about 2 years. The CM Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated 56 new ventilator beds at King George’s Medical University (KGMU) in a bid to expand all the critical care services for all the patients. The Chief Minister had inaugurated the new beds on 5th April 2017 i.e., on Wednesday.
Already, in this University, there are about 88 beds and provides the best facility for all the patients. Now, on the whole, there are 144 ventilator beds in the Medical University. During the inaugural event, the CM Yogi raised some problems of the patients like fights between the patients, attendants and doctors as well. There are some doctors who collect the salary from the Government and also earn money through their private practice.
The Chief Minister pointed out all these issues of assaulting during the occasion. He also said that some of the assault cases have rapidly increased since the last 5 years. Doctors these days have become commercial and looking out at the patients only for the sake of their fees. They have lost all their sensitivity towards the patients and behaving rudely with their patients. There is an adage that speaking to the patients in a kind and sensitive manner will reduce half of the disease of the patient. So, he suggested all the doctors to treat the patients in a polite and sensitive way.
Yogi Requests Doctors to Service Patients in Villages
Most of the doctors who completed their Graduation in MBBS requests to give posting in the city instead of village postings. So, he requested all the doctors to work for 2 years in villages and offer their medical services to all the patients over there. This way, we could provide some essential facilities for all the people in villages.
The Government will purchase some equipment for hospitals at a higher price compared to the private hospitals. But the maintenance in Government institutions is lacking. In some of the private institutions, we can see a machine works perfect for about 5 years. But, when coming to the Government institutions, the machinery will break down just after one year or few months. He told the Government officials to work genuinely without deceiving the patients.
