Riya Sen ties the knot with boyfriend Shivam Tiwari in a hush-hush manner – See Pics

Few days back, there was the announcement of Bollywood actress Riya Sen’s engagement to her long-time boyfriend Shivam Tiwari. It was bbeing speculated that the couple may get hitched by the end of this month and the speculations turn out to be true.

Yes, on Wednesday, Riya and Shivam have tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in Pune and the affair was attended by only family and close friends.

Raima Sen, sister of Riya Sen kept sharing the pictures of Riya’s wedding on the social media accounts.

We have to say that Riya looks gorgeous in her Bengali bridal outfit which was a red saree. Shivam, her husband, on the other hand also dressed traditionally and sporting a topor as can be seen in the pictures. The images of the haldi ceremony were also shared by Raima.

However, no one from the family, be it Riya, Sivam, Raima on Riya’s mother Moon Moon Sen, have made formal announcement of the marriage. Yet, we all knew about the affair because Riya’s Instagram account is flooded with her pictures with Shivam. That was a perfect source to know that both Riya and Shivam were dating each other.

In her interview, Moon Moon Sen had stated press persons that “good looks matter the most” to Riya. “Money is not important for them (Riya and her sister Raima Sen) as they don’t realize its value. But both my girls are high-maintenance, so they need to find boys who are rich, if nothing else,” she was quoted as saying by media people.

Coming to Riya’s professional career as an actress, she has been a part of few Bollywood films and many Bengali films. In Bengal, she is know for doing the films like Noukadubi and Jaatishwar. In Bollywood, the actress is best remembered for her much acclaimed performances in the Hindi films such as Style, Jhankaar Beats and Apna Sapna Money Money.

Apart from her new married life of course, Riya is busy shooting for Ekta Kapoor’s web series Ragini MMS 2.2. The web-series is an extended version of Ekta Kapoor’s hit film series Ragini MMS.
