There are lots of convincing and terrifying doppelgangers for celebrities out there on the Internet, but I'm often unconvinced. The person is always trying to look too much like their celeb counterpart, sometimes getting plastic surgery and learning complicated makeup tips. But Mashable recently reported on 22-year-old Sofia Solares, who looks a whole lot like a certain celebrity. Here's Selena Gomez and her famous face:

Solares has a lot of Instagram followers.probably because of her uncanny resemblance to a famous woman, but also probably because she is beautiful.
She looks like Selena Gomez, after all.

It'd be hard to be fooled just casually scrolling through her feed, because Gomez has far more glamorous art house shots, but look at them when they're just being casual:

And she's obviously a fan, posting this pic of Selena to her own Instagram feed, in a confusing whiplash:

She even told E! News that her dream is to just have Selena acknowledge her: "I love Selena Gomez and I declare myself a fan of hers and of course it would be a dream to know that she is aware of my existence," Sofia said. "If she were to take a few minutes to write something to me—I would cry of happiness!"
