Many a time while performing like a hero who is loaded with multi-talents and bravery actors turn out to perform same even in real life. The same happened with Akshay Kumar who like a hero rescued his heroine Lara Dutta from drowning.
Lara Dutta, the hot Bollywood Star who gave hit films like MASTI, HOUSEFULL, PARTNER, NO ENTRY and likewise, has high respects for Akshay. She thinks of him as a fortunate mascot. Lara India’s just second magnificence to win the renowned Miss Universe Title in 2000 after Sushmita Sen and this was her recent years in Bollywood in 2003. She was in shooting for “Andaaz” movie where her co-stars were Akshay and Priyanka Chopra. This Sunil Darshan’s movie Andaaz was being shot in Cape Town. The shot required Lara and Akshay to remain almost a precipice and institute a melody grouping. The mighty tide crashed against the blockade set up for the shoot, dragging Lara into the water.
Lara was close to the ocean for a shot when the ebb and flow cleared her away. Akshay, renowned for his genuine tricks, hopped into the water and safeguarded her. Lara doesn’t know how to swim and she was nearly suffocating.
“I didn’t know that Lara didn’t know how to swim,” says Akshay, “We were remaining there when the lashing tide hit us both. Before we knew it, Lara was pulled away by the water. At last, I figured out how to get her hand and draw her back.”
Akshay, in any case, wants to play unassuming, saying it is the ethical obligation of everybody to help other people.
Lara, obviously, was shaken after the close lethal mischance. Says Darshan, “They were in an ensured zone, yet the waves that day were extremely fierce. Akshay spared her. Every one of us was amazed that Lara doesn’t know to swim.”
Darshan says Lara was given medical aid promptly to keep away the chills: “She was shuddering and we needed to cancel the shoot for some time.”
