7 Actors In Bollywood Who Are Paid A Huge Amount For Supporting Roles
No doubt, lead actors in Bollywood charge whopping amounts to work in a movie which is sometimes higher than annual profits of billionaires. Recently, Deepika Padukone charged higher than other lead actors in the movie Padmaavat, Shahid Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh.
However, actors playing a supporting role are also not far behind in getting paid amounts as high as the lead actors. Here’s the list of seven such actors:
1. Kunal Kemmu
Kunal Khemu who started his career as a child artist in 1990s made his debut with a lead role in the movie Kalyug (2005). More than playing a lead actor, he did a lot of supporting roles in the last few years and allegedly earns Rs 2 crores per movie.
2. Neil Nitin Mukesh
Neil Nitin Mukesh, son, and grandson of singers Nitin Mukesh and Mukesh respectively also did two movies as a child artist 1990s. While the actor made his debut with the critically acclaimed movie, Johnny Gaddar in 2007, he appeared in several movies as supporting characters and earns Rs 1-2 crores per movie.
3. Arshad Warsi
Lovingly called as ‘Circuit’ after his superhit character in the movie Munnabhai MBBS, Arshad has also done more superhit movies like Golmaal series and Ishqiya. He apparently earned  Rs. 3-3.5 crore for his appearance in another Golmaal series film, Golmaal Again
4. Bobby Deol
Son of veteran actor Dharmendra and Bollywood actor, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol is currently working on Salman Khan’s upcoming Race 3 which is being directed by Remo D’Souza. As per the sources, the actor is getting paid Rs 7 crore for his role in the movie.
5. Anil Kapoor
Popular actor Anil Kapoor who has also appeared in many International projects is currently working on Remo D’Souza directorial, Race 3. The actor is getting a whopping amount of Rs 8-9 crores for the movie.
6. Tusshar Kapoor
Bollywood actor and producer and son of veteran actor Jeetendra and younger brother to Ekta Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor is popularly known for playing Lucky in the Golmaal series and according to some reports he was paid Rs 2 crores per film while appearing in supporting roles.
7. Riteish Deshmukh
Son of the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra late Vilasrao Deshmukh, Riteish Deshmukh has acted in many movies like Housefull 3, Great Grand Masti, and Bank Chor in the last couple of years but none of them was a superhit at the box office. However, as per the sources, he was paid Rs 3-4 crores per film.
