There have been quite many talks and reports about the comeback of Salman Khan’s 10 Ka Dum on TV. A show that used to be telecasted on TV and was quite famous among masses a decade back. Who can forget the episodes that had Akshay Kumar – Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan-Imran Khan as guests?
Now Salman Khan is all set to comeback with the show and it promises to be bigger and better. There are reports that the show will start being telecasted on TV post IPL season i.e. from coming June.
Salman Khan has already shot for the teaser before he left Bangkok to shoot Race 3. The teaser will be out for public anytime in the coming week and after that, the team is planning to telecast the promos.
Unlike Salman Khan’s Weekend Ka Vaar, 10 Ka Dum will be telecasted in weekdays on Prime Time. The team still has to decide whether it will come from Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday.
How much is Salman Khan being paid for it?
Now the most interesting fact regarding the same is Salman Khan’s remuneration for the show. Reports suggest that Salman Khan will be shooting for 26 episodes of the show and will be charging Rs 3 crores per episode which means 78 crores total. Now this is more than the lifetime business of many Bollywood films but at the same time less than the weekend collections that Salman Khan starrers bring at Box Office.
What more? Salman Khan is already on board for the 4th season also.
A source was quoted as saying by DNA-
“For a long time, Salman was keen on returning to this show. However, the channel wasn’t ready to shell out his asking price. But last year, both parties settled on a fee that they were comfortable with.”
