Janhvi Kapoor returned to work after Sridevi’s demise
There were hearsays all around regarding Janhvi Kapoor taking a break from work, but putting aside all the doubts, the actress has restarted her film project, Dhadak.
On March 8, the celebrity kid, who has lost her mom recently, was seen in Bandra with her film squad comprising film director Shashank Khaitan and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter.
Janhvi and Ishaan will shot some portions of the flick in Bandra and after that, the team will leave the city for Kolkata to shoot the remaining part of the flick.

A source from the sets of Dhadak stated, “Janhvi and Ishaan will be shooting in Bandra for the next couple of days where they will film some romantic scenes. In the coming week, the duo will head to Kolkata to begin work on the story post-interval, when the lovers elope. They have completed the shoot of the first half which kicked off last December and was shot across Rajasthan and on a set in Mumbai where parts of the state were recreated.”

After the unexpected death of renowned beauty and her mom Sridevi, on February 24, there were reports all around that the actress will take a break from work.

But showcasing her strength in hard times, the actress joined the sets of the flick as she didn’t wish to postpone the film’s release. The flick is expected to hit the theatres on July 20, 2018.

The buffs of the actress are awaiting her inheritance to live on through Janhvi.
Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, Dhadak is a remake of Marathi chartbuster Sairat that featured novices Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar. Whilst Sairat was filmed in rustic regions of the state of Maharashtra, Dhadak is filmed in the state of Rajasthan.

Director Shashank Khaitan had previously stated in an interview about the flick, “The basic premise is of differences in caste, honour killing and what it means to survive in that world and I feel that is the conflict that is alive all across India, you will hear stories like that. So in that sense, the basic premise (of Dhadak and Sairat) is same. But there are variations.”
