Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan has declared her assets and it has reached Rs 1,000 crore label. Jaya is also an MP of Samajwadi Party from Uttar Pradesh and is now the richest parliamentarian.
In the year 2014, Ravindra Kishore Sinha, BJP MP in Rajya Sabha declared assets worth Rs 800 crore. He has now been upstaged by Jaya with assets of net worth Rs 1,000 crore. In the year 2012, she declared her assets worth Rs 493 crore.
According to the affidavit, Jaya and her husband Amitabh have immovable assets worth more than Rs 460 crore, which is more than twice of what they owned in 2012 — Rs 152 crore. Moreover, they had movable assets worth Rs 343 crore in 2012 which is now around Rs 540 crore.
She was last seen doing a cameo role in 2016 film Ki & Ka which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor in lead role.
