Story: Parmanu is the story based on 90’s situation when there was the great political doubt after the collapse of the Soviet Union. USA and China were nuclear powers and reports say China is helping Pakistan. PM’o office’s officer thought mocking the Chinese would be the answer, Ashwat Rana the character plays by John Abraham knew the formula to get back them. After three years, when India observed a change in power, a team was put together to conduct the tests. Excelling government, politics and technological warnings, this team, also comprising of Ambalika (Diana Penty) to conduct the test.
Review: The film revolves around the how India entered the wanted global ‘nuclear club’ in May 1998 has been documented amazingly. The plot will recall the triumph among parts of the general public as well as media when the atomic devices were collapsed in the middle of the sand dunes of Pokharan.
In the Vajpayee government, the secret project executed and expected, there was great confusion and conviction, from America, which saw it as an embarrassing intelligence breakdown, as well as Pakistan and China.
Ashwat Raina aks John Abraham and his bunch of men, as well as Diana Penty, play out the game of cat-mouse. Though, the film is inspired by the true event but has the fictional concept to make audience entertain.
However, movie critic Taran Adarsh review the film as, “#OneWordReview…#Parmanu: O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G.
Rating: 4 stars, One of the best films to come out of the Hindi film industry… The film is gripping in its entirety, but the climax takes the film to another level… Deserves a standing ovation… DON’T MISS IT!”
