At Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi yesterday, the 65th National Film Award has been held where many celebrities honored with the prestigious award for their contributions.
Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor along with Boney Kapoor were also present in the event organized in the capital. Sridevi honored an award for Best Actor for her performance in the film MOM.
Like mother like daughters, Janhvi, and Khushi looks every inch of Sridevi when they both were receiving the award with dad Boney Kapoor. Janhvi opted to wear one of her mother’s sarees designed by Manish Malhotra. However, designer Malhotra explained this moment as, “emotional and precious”

Earlier, the beloved family of lat Sridevi issued a joint statement by expressing their thanks to the special jury. The statement read as:
We are overjoyed to know that the Jury has conferred the Best Actor Award to Sridevi for her performance in ‘MOM’. It’s a very special moment for all of us.She was always a perfectionist and it showed in all the 300 plus films she did. She was not just a Super Actor but a Super Wife and a Super Mom.Its time to celebrate her life and her achievements. She is not with us today but her legacy will always live on.We thank the Government of India, the Hon’ble Jury Members for this honor.
