Almost all of the latest high-end phones share one common feature: wireless charging. This little convenience is supported in the latest iPhone X and iPhone 8 series, in the Samsung Galaxy S series, the LG G7 ThinQ, V30, the Sony Xperia XZ2, the Moto Z series with a mod, and on, and on.
And we have come to love this feature more and more: wireless charging is a bit slower than the standard charging via a wire, but it's so much more convenient.
So what if you had one of these great new phones and opted to buy (or at least pre-order) one of the most technologically advanced cars of modern times? Which car are we talking about? Well, the Tesla Model 3, of course, the electric car that is set to transform the world and switch it to electric mobility.
As much as we love the Model 3, we were disappointed that it lacked something as basic as wireless charging. Well, one company is already fixing that with a product of its own: welcome Nomad's Telsa Wireless Charger that integrates seamlessly in the Model 3 and allows you to charge up two phones wirelessly at the same time.
The product is not quite ready yet – it is said to start shipping on September 1st – but you can pre-order it now for $130 (or pay $150 when it launches). This wireless charger that is tailor made for the Model 3 also comes with a 6,000mAh battery built-in and supports fast-charging speeds of up to 7.5 watts. It doubles as a stand and features a rubber surface that will prevent your phones from wiggling around too much. And it sports convenient LED lights to indicate whether the charge is effectively being carried out (the light turns white when your phone is fully charged).
All in all, if you did pay the pretty penny for a new Tesla Model 3, this wireless charger is definitely something we can recommend.
