Meenakshi Temple, Madurai

One of the most picturesque temples in India, it sees 20-30K visitors everyday. It is said to earn around Rs 6 crore through donations every year. The temple houses 33,000 sculptures,14 gopurams and  two golden Vimanas whose value is estimated to be quite high as well.

Jagannath Temple, Puri
