The first ever Harry Potter novel came out more than 20 years ago. And its fan following has only increased since then. Even though there are no new books coming out, fans are still keeping busy. Numerous Potter fans across the globe continue to analyze the plots and bring out new theories about it. Even author JK Rowling is super active when it comes to fan theories and keeps all engaged.

So a Twitter handle called ‘Today Years Old’ recently tweeted a theory about Harry’s scar. According to this theory, the scar on Potter’s head is not a lighting bolt as many presumed. It is instead, the hand movement made to cast the spell ‘Avada Kedavra’. In the tweet, the user uploaded a shot of the scar and also a screenshot of the Wikipedia page for the spell.
