Aamir’s ‘Dangal Crosses 300Cr in 28 Days: Highest Earning Movie Ever

Aamir Khan continues to create magic on the silver screen with his recent release Dangal which has taken the country by a storm.  And this time it’s not only the critics and the reviews but also the record-breaking box office collection of 375.66 crores in just 27 days in the domestic market.

Dangal started its first weekend with the total of Rs.106.95 crores which is the highest first-weekend collection for any movie in the Indian cinema and within three days of its release, the movie had crossed the mark of 100 crores. Globally the movie has earned Rs.575.92 crores in last 27 days setting the new BENCHMARKS.

‘Dangal’ is based on the true story of Indian wrestler and coach Mahavir Singh Phogat about his journey of training his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari to become world-class wrestlers against all the odds in Indian society. The movie currently enjoys the distinction of being the highest grossing film in Hindi cinema.

Dangal also starred the debutants Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra who are currently getting the further training under the Aamir Khan banner. The movie still continues to attract many people all across the globe and it is for all of us to see how long Mr.Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s movie will mark the record for the highest earning movie in the history of Indian Cinema.
