Actor Sarvadaman D Banerjee is a veteran and renowned actor. He rose to fame with his role as Krishna in Ramanand Sagar’s show ‘Shri Krishna’. The actor also worked in in noted films like ‘Swami Vivekananda’ and ‘Sirivennela’ and bagged several awards for his notable acting.
When he essayed the role of Shri Krishna, he did it with so perfection that people started respecting him as Lord krishna. He became a household name.
After Shri Krishna he worked in several mythological shows like Arjun, Jai Ganga Maiya and Om Namah Shivaye. In all these mythological shows also, he played the role of Krishna only.

In an interview the actor said, that there is a there is a time when you like all that the name is earned, run behind the money. But there is a world different from all these, where there is self-restraint, there is no race. He was looking for this kind of world. For this reason, he left everything and came here.
