So what makes Royal Enfield “Royal”? Called ‘Bullet’ across the length and breadth of the country, Royal Enfield continues to churn out bikes that have encapsulated themselves to a legendary status. Yes, we have heard, many must have used them as well, so much about the brand, its design and what not, but I feel we didn’t read or know much about it. So, take a read some interesting facts about that BULLET.
1. Royal Enfield is the oldest running motorcycle brand in the world still in production.
4. Indian Army still has thousands of Royal Enfield motorcycles in the service for the troops based in North, and North-west borders and other cantonments.
7. In 1990, Enfield India produced a diesel motorcycle called‘Taurus’, which unfortunately was not a commercial success for the company and they stopped producing them in 2002.
However, the bikes have gone to achieve cult popularity and are now a big hit with collectors.
