Arnold Schwarzenegger said, “For me life is continuously being hungry. The meaning of life is not simply to exist, to survive, but to move ahead, to go up, to achieve, to conquer.”
Arnold’s Early Life
Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger took birth in the small Austrian village of Thal, close to Graz on July 30th, 1947. His dad, Gustav worked as the local police head. Arnold as well as his older brother, Meinhard, lived their lives under the discipline of their dad.
Arnold’s early years were much strictly controlled. He woke up at six, and after that went to get milk from the nearby dairy farm. After that, he would have to do workouts that his dad had chosen. In the noon time, after finishing homework and duties, his dad made Arnold and Meinhard practice soccer.
His dad himself had been a well-known ice curler during his younger years and he wished his sons to shine physically.
Army Life
He became part of the Austrian army in the year 1965 to accomplish his mandatory 12-month service. He worked as a driver in a tank division. Soon after he got inducted, Arnold bagged an invitation to struggle in the junior division of the Mr. Europe competition in Stuttgart, Germany. But he was learning basic training and no soldier was permitted to depart the base for any cause, However, Arnold knew that his fate was tied with bagging this competition, so he made his mind to go AWOL with the intention to compete.
Coming to America
Arnold reached America during September of the year 1968, with a gymnasium bag, twenty US dollars and almost no English. He lived in a small apartment building in Venice Beach and was offered a small salary by Weider for using his image in periodicals. He started training at a small gymnasium at Venice Beach, Los Angeles. He rubbed shoulders with all the top American bodybuilders but quickly set up himself as the head.
In 1970, Arnold bagged the most coveted e crown of bodybuilding: bagging the Mr. Universe, Mr. World, and the Mr. Olympia titles.
Acting
In the year 1970, Joe Weider got a call from a movie production firm seeking a bodybuilder to don the role of Hercules in a low budget movie. At once, Joe thought of Arnold and told filmmaker that Arnie had been a Shakespearean star in Europe. They signed him up instantly.
The outcome was that it turned Arnold’s first, and most unmemorable movie. And then, he got a special place in Hollywood.

He is definitely one of the superstars of Hollywood!
