Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore asked Indians to get fitter as part of #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign, India’s cricket captain Virat Kohli took up this challenge. He took to his Twitter and posted his video doing a core workout.

Kohli’s video comes in response to Rathore’s earlier tweet, in which the Union Minister of Youth Affairs challenged the Indian captain, 2012 London Olympic medallist Saina Nehwal and Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan to join in.
He also challenged his wife Anushka Sharma, his cricketer friend MS Dhoni and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
PM Modi responded via a tweet:
“Challenge accepted, Virat! I will be sharing my own #FitnessChallenge video soon. @imVkohli #HumFitTohIndiaFit.”

As part of the #HumFitTohIndiaFit campaign, Rathore, an Olympic medallist at Athens 2004, spoke of the importance of fitness as stressed by Prime Minister Modi. It encouraged Indians to become fitter by getting down and doing 10 push-ups.
Rathore has invited Indians to post pictures and videos of their fitness attempts and regimes on Twitter using the hashtag #FitnessChallenge and #HumFitTohIndiaFit.

Kohli is not the first to answer the challenge. Rathore has received a positive response from many famous personalities which includes Saina Nehwal, Manoj Tiwari, Salman Khan, Tiger Shroff, Babita Phogat, Manasi Joshi. All of them have posted a video on Twitter.
