Every love story is a special one and deserves its rightful end. Sex, age, religion, caste and everything else falls flat when it comes to love. And we would like to emphasize the word sex! One such instance which proves the same is that from Odisha, as a lesbian couple from Kendrapara has threatened that they’ll commit suicide if they are moved apart. It’s being reported that the women have been together for around 5 months.
Apparently, with an intention of getting married, the couple had earlier presented an affidavit in Kendrapara’s local court asking for the permission! It appears that the couple also departed to live in the capital i.e Bhubaneswar.
Sadly, one of the dads of the couple lodged a complaint to the police and alleged that his daughter has been kidnapped and forced for marriage by the other woman.

“Both the women have been rescued from Bhubaneswar and their statements have been recorded”.

He further mentioned,
“During the interrogation, both expressed their willingness to live together and threatened to commit suicide if any attempts were made to separate them,” he added.
If an adult is balanced enough and desires the company of another adult, then what’s wrong? Furthermore, section 377 exists no more, so what is the big deal if it’s a lesbian couple?
