Now, yet another exciting news got disclosed this morning making the fans of the director hero duo gaga. Today morning, successfully director cum producer Karan Johar made a big announcement. On Wednesday, KJo tweeted ‘BIG ANNOUNCEMENT tomorrow morning!!!! Extremely excited about this collaboration!!!! Watch this space…..”, leaving all his followers anxious.
On Thursday morning, he tweeted a poster of Ranveer Singh in his crazy avatar having a big moustache and with police uniform confirming that his next big project is Simmba with Rohit Shetty. It was confirmed officially by Karan Johar himself that he will be collaborating with Chennai Express director Rohit Shetty for a massy action film titled Simmba. The date of film release has been finalized as well. The movie will hit the silver screens on December 28, 2018.

Simmba Teaser Released: Ranveer Looks Massy at his best
In the poster released, Ranveer Singh looked so much like his original self. He was so energetic and the look seemed so familiar as well. He wore the uniform of cop as me must be donning the cop role in the flick. The movie is titled as Sangram Bhalerao aka Simmba. All the fans of Ranveer Singh are eager to see him in energetic role, which is similar to his real character and finally director Rohit Shetty decided to make the dreams of fans come true with Simmba movie.
After Karan Johar’s tweet, director Rohit Shetty also tweeted saying ‘From the team of the most honest cop #Singham, comes the most notorious cop, presenting to you #Simmba A Rohit Shetty film, coming next year Dec 2018. Rohit Shetty has earlier announced that he will be collaborating with the super energetic Ranveer Singh and that the film will feature few scenes from Junior NTR starrer Temper movie.
The director said that the film is not a complete remake of Temper and that only four to five scenes will be remade. However, they have bought the copy rights of the complete movie. In an interview, Rohit Shetty showered praises on Ranveer saying that ‘he is a superstar. His energy is not restricted. He does not think, ‘if I perform in a certain way, what will this or that person think.’ That’s the quality of a superstar.’
